Description
Michael Sandy says he has had an interest in fossils since he was a schoolboy. Here is how he tells his own story: “I enjoyed school trips to explore nature outdoors and visit natural history and geological museums. I also encouraged my family to take fossil collecting trips and drive down remote country roads to find archaeological sites. These were chances to observe nature and investigate the “outside world”. I grew up in London and also went to university there. I then had a two year research appointment in Scotland before working at a university in the United States for over 30 years. I then moved to Bulgaria and continue my interest in fossils and geology. I have always enjoyed opportunities to show others fascinating fossils. That’s what brings me here today!”
