Once through the gate of Sofia Tech Park, proceed to the multi-storey car park. The tax is 1 Lev per hour and the system is identical to most shopping centres. There is a button at the barrier which you need to press for your ticket and for the barrier to open. Drive straight ahead down the alley you have arrived along. You will need your ticket both to enter and leave the car park. Before you leave, make sure to pay the due tax at the machine.

Sofia Science Festival

The twelfth edition of the Sofia Science Festival will take place on 8 and 9 October at Sofia Tech Park while the Schools Programme will continue throughout the month.
You will find accessible, entertaining events demonstrating the wonders of science and the latest research results from across the world, and how they enrich our lives, explain familiar phenomena and bring hope for the future of humanity.

The Sofia Science Festival celebrates science and technology and presents leading Bulgarian and international researchers in discussions, demonstrations, hands-on workshops for schools and adults, and interdisciplinary events linking the sciences with art.

The twelfth edition is organised by the Beautiful Science Foundation, established by the British Council and Forum Democrit to develop the festival and seek new ways of presenting Bulgarian and global scientists to audiences across the country. Together with the Ministry of Education & Science, main partner in the festival, as well as our network of institutional and corporate partners, we have prepared an exciting, diverse programme of new events dedicated to some of the major challenges before humanity – climate change, health, space exploration and the origin of the universe. We will also mark some fascinating anniversaries and personalities.
